    A traditional coolant ideally suited for older vehicles this HD expert classic antifreeze/coolant is a fully formulated engine coolant based on an exclusive formulation of corrosion inhibitors. It is a low silicate; phosphate and amine free; aluminum compatible coolant that you can use in automotive, light duty, heavy duty diesel and natural gas engine vehicles such as on-road truck, off-road and farm equipment. Experts recommend this product for use where a fully formulated heavy duty diesel coolant is required.

  • Heavy duty diesel antifreeze/coolant is a superior fully formulated ethylene glycol based product containing SCA pre-charge with low silicate corrosion inhibitors
  • Provides exceptional cooling and excellent protection against freezing in winter
  • Recommended for all heavy duty diesel applications including truck, off-road, marine and farm engines
  • Complies with the low silicate requirements necessary for diesel engines
  • Engines with aluminum heads or blocks are most effeciently protected by regular Unival Anti-freeze which offers an inhibitor system particulary suited to aluminum (HH #8612-147/165)
  • Consult Owner\’s Manual to determine cooling system capacity
  • Check cooling system for leaks
  • Flush system while heater is on high (for best results use Unival Rad flush – HH #8651-581)
  • Open radiator petcock and drain radiator
  • Close petcock
  • Add required solution to achieve a minimum 50/50 mix in the total cooling system
  • To remove air bubbles, start engine and run until heater is operating
  • Top up radiator and coolant reservoir to required level
  • Reset rad cap
  • Check coolant condition periodically and change annually for best corrosion protection
